v.1 grow up / weekday hat (similar) + sweater, asos trousers, oscar wylee glasses, adidas gazelles
I decided that for my very last month before becoming a legal adult (WHAT) I would do something new every day. I *mostly* succeeded, doing such things as flying by myself for the first time: stepping out of my comfort zone a little bit each day. Tomorrow I turn the big 18 and I'm totally not ready.
July for me was also full of big decisions: I finally applied to uni and it really makes me terrified thinking about it all. I feel like it was a pivotal month in my life: one where I am starting to come to terms with the future and... myself. It's a tricky thing to explain, as I am sure you will all know.
SO introducing a series that WILL survive this time: style book. Themed outfits based on my mood or just whatever I feel like. Easy, simple... come on Chloe you can do it!! The first is called 'grow up' which is obviously based on the fact that tomorrow I enter my 18th year OMG I still can't believe it.
I have been drawn to genderless silhouettes, or perhaps clothes that are more 'acceptable' for people of the opposite gender to wear. This is a casual outfit but I have been enjoying slowly adding little bits of colour to make it exciting for myself (because let's face it, no one else cares if I wear pink socks). Oh and finding some of the coolest brands - one featured here being Weekday. I found them through asos and kind of fell in love with their stuff, so placed an order on their website. My location in the world meant it didn't arrive until 3 weeks later, but to say the least I was just happy it was all undamaged when it came.
I got these new babies from Oscar Wylee - the Leo frames in Clear Crystal and they actually have a prescription this time guys!! I wear them whenever I get the chance, they go with every outfit and GUESS WHAT even the real life Troye Sivan complemented them. No joke, he legit said 'I love your glasses'. (He also complemented my nails too, which were painted white if you wanted to know...)
I think I had one of the best weekends of my life to finish off July, more on all that soon!
See you WHEN I AM 18!
