Today I will be sharing 5 really simple beauty tips to keep your skin and hair healthy and beautiful.
These are things you should definitely try, since they are so simple, easy, cheap and worth-it.

Do not brush your hair when it is wet. This damages the hair shaft, causing split ends. When it is wet you should comb it with a wide toothed comb, which will detangle and style, but not damage.
When your hands, lips, feet or legs are feeling dry, take 1 teaspoon of olive oil and 1 teaspoon of white sugar and combine in the palm of your hand. Use this to scrub the dry area in a circular motion. Rinse off and pat dry. This will get rid of dry, flakey skin, leaving the area soft and smooth.
Everyone gets breakouts, and luckily tea tree oil is on our side. This natural oil is antiseptic, antibacterial, antiviral and antifungal. Apply to pimples, cuts, burns, bites and stings. It really does help speed up the recovery time.
Coconut Oil. This is just about the most wonderful thing mother nature has given us. Coconut oil has an extremely wide variety of uses, from treating wood to curing a cold. You can also eat it, and substitute it for oil in your recipes. You can find a great list of uses here and here. I use this on my hair. You can apply 1 teaspoon to your scalp, massaging it in, and 1 teaspoon for the tips, then shampoo and condition as usual. Coconut oil is the best treatment for your hair.
To make cuticle cream, combine equal parts coconut oil and shea butter, melt and set. Apply to your cuticles and nails and let it melt. Rub it in using a circular motion with your finger, and dab off with tissue. This is super moisturizing and strengthens your nails.
