my first try with macro...

Hello everyone!
I would just like to say thank you so much for taking the time to read my blog! It feels great now that I know people are looking at it. I have had a great time so far, and met some amazing people in the blogging world. So, Thanks! I really enjoy reading comments and messages because it inspires me to keep going! Anyway...

Today, I tried taking some macro shots with my camera for the first time! I think they turned out good! By the way, I have a Nikon D40, I will do a post about it soon! Have a peek...

tiny little seed pods - the image quality on blogger isn't too good by the way!

lavender flower

a hebe bush - i love the colour

the inside of a tulip flower

also, here are some more little birdies I took photos of!
All of these birds were taken by me with my Dad's camera, which is a Nikon D40.

a cute little duckling!

a Morepork, one of the native owls of New Zealand - they are really tiny and so cute! Owls are an obsession of mine!

a New Zealand Falcon. This one had a broken wing so couldn't fly.

a Bellbird. These make the most amazing noise!

a Silver eye drinking from a bird feeding station.

That's all for today! Hope you enjoyed
